Our mission is to provide outstanding support to young people who are

looked after or leaving care across the UK.

We ensure our residents achieve their maximum potential in a warm, modern, home environment and support is delivered by inspiring adults who understand, relate and care about young people. Our personalised support package provides stability and structure to young people who are ready to acquire independent living skills.

We promote an ethos that welcomes different cultures as we recognise

that every child matters regardless of race, orientation or identity.

We aim to celebrate young people’s achievements and equip them with the life skills on their successful transition into adulthood. Above all, we want our residents to recognise they are valued in society.

We will provide professional and social opportunities for residents to

explore and develop key skills they can take forward in life.

We will reward resilience and effort, and encourage residents to challenge themselves to recognise their true potential.

We want residents to be proud of their identity and feel safe and comfortable in their home.

Coastal Key Housing was established in 2018. Our successful tender submissions to Lancashire and Placements North West enable us to be a leading and preferred provider for children’s social services. We have quickly developed an outstanding reputation with social workers and local authorities, and we have built extensive networks with relevant professionals who help to further our support for our young people. Coastal Key Housing is recognised for providing quality accommodation that emulates a home environment for young people to develop their independence in.

Young people must have a voice in their care plan. We respect the wishes and views of all our residents and encourage them to make sensible decisions to help further themselves. We understand the transition into adulthood can present many challenges and we want our residents to feel valued and be able to communicate with confidence. We work closely with young people to help achieve this through structured key sessions and therapeutic conversations.
