Our home environment is the key to our support.

Here we develop independent living skills so young people are able to maintain their own homes when it is their time to move on. Young people’s key days allow them work on a wide variety of important skills. We encourage residents to participate in the daily running of their home and be part of the decisions made that will affect their home. We also encourage social activities to bring young people together and reflect a family home.

We ask residents to set a range of goals to coincide with their support plan. Our key workers will then deliver relevant sessions to ensure these goals are met. Combined with their pathway plan, we will work to achieve these outcomes in order to measure the success of the placement. If something is not working, it is recognised early and amended to support the needs of the young person.

Our Accommodation

Holmfield Road

Holmfield Road is our 4-bedroom, group-living, semi-independent home. Young people have their own double room and share communal facilities such as the living room, bathroom and kitchen. Each person has their own cupboard for food and their own shelf storage in the American fridge-freezer. We encourage each resident to take ownership of their room, so they truly feel at home. Each of our rooms is furnished to the highest of standards, including Wi-Fi access, a smart TV and game consoles. We want our young people to feel safe and at home, as a staff member is present within the property 24/7.

St Anthony’s Place - Solo

St Anthony’s is a solo placement setting for young people who find it difficult to live with others in a group setting. Our in-depth support plan allows more attention to be focussed on the individual and a more therapeutic approach can be delivered. The house is decorated to a modern standard and has a homely feel .

St Anthony’s Place – Floating Support

St Anthony’s is a modern decorated 2-bedroom house. Each young person will be allocated a set amount of hours for staff to support their independent skills. A tailored support package identifies areas of support for the young person to maintain St Anthony’s Place comfortably, safely and successfully.

Emergency placements are available at all homes.

We are committed to supporting young people at whatever stage in their journey.

We endeavour to get to know the young person prior to their move, as in our experience a smooth transition to Coastal Key Housing yields the most beneficial results for residents. An assessment of which support model works best will be implemented from the start of their placement; this ensures the transition to independent living will be a success.

We support unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC).
